Welcome to AuraTasks! DevUno ("we", "our", "us") operates the AuraTasks mobile application ("the Service", "the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

By using AuraTasks, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, install, or use our App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1. Information You Provide Directly

We collect information that you provide directly when using AuraTasks:

• Account Information: Email address, display name (optional), and profile picture (optional)
• Task Data: Tasks, subtasks, notes, descriptions, categories, priorities, due dates, and reminders you create
• Recurring Tasks: Recurrence patterns, intervals, and schedules
• Location Data: Geographic coordinates and addresses you specify for location-based reminders (only when you enable this feature)
• Time Tracking: Time spent on tasks and time estimates
• Settings: App preferences including theme settings and notification preferences

2.2. Information Collected Automatically

When you use AuraTasks, we automatically collect certain information:

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information
• Usage Data: App usage statistics, features used, and interaction patterns to improve our service
• Crash Reports: Technical data about app crashes and errors to help us fix bugs and improve stability
• Analytics Data: Task completion rates, productivity metrics, and aggregated usage statistics

2.3. Location Information

AuraTasks requests location permissions only when you choose to use location-based reminders. We collect your location data solely for the purpose of sending reminders when you arrive at or leave specified locations. Location data is collected in the background only when location reminders are enabled.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and Maintain the Service: Create and manage your account, sync your data across devices, and deliver core app functionality
• Location-Based Reminders: Monitor your location (only when enabled) and send notifications when you arrive at or depart from specified locations

4.1. Data Storage

All your data is securely stored using Firebase (Google Cloud Platform), which provides enterprise-grade security and reliability:

• Firebase Authentication: Secure authentication system protecting your account
• Cloud Firestore: NoSQL database storing your tasks, settings, and app data
• Firebase Storage: Secure storage for profile pictures and user-generated content

4.2. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols
• Authentication: Secure password hashing and authentication tokens
• Access Controls: Your data is only accessible by you and is protected by authentication

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

5.1. No Sale of Personal Data

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting your information.

5.2. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate AuraTasks:

• To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the App

6. App Permissions

AuraTasks requests the following permissions on your device:

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1. Access Your Data

You can access all your data at any time within the App. Additionally, AuraTasks provides data export features:

• JSON Export: Complete backup of all your data in JSON format
• CSV Export: Export tasks to spreadsheet-compatible CSV format

7.2. Delete Your Data

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data:

• In-App Deletion: Delete your account directly from the App settings
• Request Deletion: Contact us at support@devuno.com to request account deletion

When you delete your account, all your data (tasks, profile information, settings) will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7.3. Correct Your Data

You can update or correct your information at any time within the App. This includes your display name, profile picture, tasks, and all other user-generated content.

7.4. Data Portability

You can export your data in machine-readable formats (JSON, CSV) using the export features in the App settings.

7.5. Opt-Out

You can:

• Disable location tracking in App settings
• Disable notifications in App settings or device settings
• Stop using the App and delete your account at any time

7.6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to know what personal information is collected
• Right to delete personal information
• Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

7.7. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to rectification (correction)
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to restrict processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to object to processing
• Right to withdraw consent

8. Children's Privacy

AuraTasks is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). If you believe we have collected information from a child under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA), please contact us immediately at support@devuno.com, and we will delete that information promptly.

9. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. When you delete your account:

• All personal data is deleted within 30 days
• Backup data may be retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes
• Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely
• Data required by law may be retained as required

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. Specifically, your data is processed by:

• Google Cloud Platform: Data centers located in multiple regions worldwide
• Firebase: Operated by Google with global infrastructure

By using AuraTasks, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Notify you through the App or via email for significant changes
• Post the updated policy on this page

Your continued use of AuraTasks after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you may delete your account and stop using the App.
